Every company starts somewhere. Ours starts with a word that feels close to home.

The name MeDomot grew out of Krio expressions associated with “my doorstep,” “my home,” and “my place.” It first came to mind around an idea for a logistics service. The company’s direction has since expanded into technology, but that original sense of proximity still gives us something worth carrying forward.

Close enough to understand.

A useful digital product begins with attention. Who is trying to do something? Where are they doing it? What makes the task difficult? The answers are often found in conversations, existing workarounds, and the details of an ordinary day.

That is the connection we see between our name and our work: technology should make sense in the place where it is used.

An open door to what comes next.

MeDomot’s next chapter brings together client services, implementation partnerships, and the ambition to develop our own solutions. The common thread is practical usefulness. We want to turn a good understanding of a problem into something people can use.

Our name reminds us to stay close to that purpose as the company grows. Rooted in Sierra Leone, and open to working with people who share that ambition.
